Valve seal material choice
Valve seal generally divided into soft seal and hard seal. Below we introduced respectively two facing the choice of materials:

1, hard seal
Hard seal and surfacing wear resistant alloy is the best choice of the cut-off valve. In this way consider sealing at the same time also considered the service life and reliability, although the factory index only ten - 4 ~ 10-5, can not reach the soft seal zero leakage effect, but close enough to meet the requirements of the cut, and it durable, from the economic point of view more bang for the buck.

2, soft seal
In addition to the lining of the corrosion resistance of valve, general soft seal valve refers to the valve core and valve seat either of the metal materials (mainly for the teflon and rubber, etc.) of the seal form of valve. Soft seal valve seal effect best, but in the pipe installation, the system of cleaning have probably leave more or less not clean debris (such as welding slag, iron, etc.), they flow through valve, easy to put the soft seal seat or valve core scratches, make the leakage quantity increase, seal, and poor reliability. So, choose soft seal structure must consider the medium cleaning and before put strict flush piping.
